The beginning of the institute's activity is in 1929, when the Department for the Reclamation of the Azov and Prikubansky plavni "Plavstroy" was organized in the Kuban. Its main task was the design and construction of protective structures against flooding of floodplain lands, drainage of swampy floodplains in the lower reaches of the Kuban River and the construction of rice systems on the developed lands.

Throughout its activity, the institute has repeatedly changed its name and subordination. In 1993, the Kuban State Design and Research Institute "Kubangiprovodkhoz" of the Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Management of the USSR was transformed into an open joint stock company design and survey Institute "Kubanvodproekt".

Kubanvodproekt JSC is a multidisciplinary organization capable of performing design and survey work at a modern technical level. The quality management system is functioning, certified for compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2008 (ISO 9001:2008).

The Institute is well equipped with computer equipment, measuring instruments and devices, vehicles, equipment for topogeodesic, engineering-geological and hydrological surveys, has a large scientific and technical fund. Kubanvodproekt JSC has its own trademark. We are always open for cooperation with all organizations in the field of designing water management, industrial and civil facilities, tourist and recreational complexes.
